A career in Economics has been always a dream ever since Ilearned the basics of wellfare economics, law of demand and supply, production, macro economics , development economics, etc. as partof the curriculum in my college. The various approaches I couldtake towards solving a problem excited me in a way no other subjectdid. Ever since then, my goal had always been to continually evolveinto a academician.

During my undergraduate course, I was constantly amazed by thediversity in the field and how all of it formed a well definedclosely knit structure. Various courses among the aforementionedsuch as macro economic analysis, micro economics, public finance,development economics, quantitative methods and Indian economyn etchelped me gain perspective of the various nuances that lay thefoundation to this very structure. On the other hand appliedeconomics, econometrics and mathmetical economics  courses equipped me with the tools to project variousreal-world applications rooted in the foundations of the Analyticalapplied economics. A strong focus on deep mathematical concepts anddiscrete structures has been part of our coursework as well, who’srelevance ties into my career interests in economics.In my Master we have done two live projects on FDI investment scopeand banking sector analysis. Apart from this I have alsoparticipated in the several paper presentation in national level .Also conducted several seminar and research seminars at our collegewhere along with a team, I contributed in implementing our proposal.

During my masters we have done several projects on value chainanalysis, Scope Agri food processing industry. There we have torank 30 commodity as per the productive and area underproduction.

Then we have to find the top producing states and then the topproduction cluster in that states.

They we have to do a primary research to finf out the valuechain analysis of the 5 commodities. Above all we have to find thethe marketable surplus of a sample size of 5000 farmers.

Working on this project has made me realize the potential ofAgriculture in a countries economy. This, in turn, has inspired meto select this as my area of specialization, which I hope tocontribute to in my scholarly endeavors to help it reach thatpotential.

As such, my current academic goal is to learn advanced conceptsin Appied economics and econometrics to improve my knowledge andalso gain necessary exposure in research working along withexperienced professors.As for my goals for the future, I wish to become a Academician inthe field of Economics and humanities. I hope to learn and growfrom this experience enough that 8-10 years down the line I candevelop myself into an successful professional, working in auniversity with a philosophy to make a difference in the world,leveraging boundaries to satisfy unfulfilled human needs.
