In an effort to understand test anxiety better, an educationalresearcher attempts to operationalize anxiety by informing subjectsthat completing a task in the time limit is required if the subjectis to receive a reward. Each subject receives four sets of 10simple calculation problems. Each set imposes a more stringent timerequirement than the one preceding after which anxiety is gauged.Anxiety scores for 8 subjects are as follows:

- Does anxiety appear to be related to time limits?
- Where are the significant differences?
Answer:
We have run this problem in MINITAB and get the output as oneway ANOVA as
H0: all time has same mean
vs
H1: atleast 1 time has different mean
a) Does anxiety appear to be related to time limits?
the p-value for the test is 0.066>0.05 hence we will acceptH0 at 95% confidence and we will say all means at different levelof time are same.
b) since there is no difference in Time we say that the meansare equal at 95% confidence. Though I did the Tukey’s test to checkfor equality,
Hence all means are equal
